Peru has called on Lima Group's Foreign Affairs Ministers to meet for second time in New York, with the aim of discussing the Venezuelan situation development and taking new measures on the matter.
Peruvian Director-General for the Americas Ambassador Hugo De Zela will attend the gathering on behalf of the Inca nation.
The second
FMs Meeting will be presided over by Mexico's Foreign Secretary Luis Videgaray Caso.
Peru has called on the 12 foreign affairs ministers who signed the
Lima Declaration, including those from Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Paraguay, Brazil,
Panama and Canada, among others.
At the end, the group will release a communiqué addressing the political situation evolution in Venezuela following the election of the Constituent Assembly.
