Bank loans provided to companies reached S/152.95 billion (around US$46.75 billion) in May 2017, the Peruvian Bank Association (Asbanc) informed.
The result led to a 2.42% increase from the same month in 2016.
It must be noted May's growth rate is higher than the one registered last April (1.4%).
Said rise was mainly boosted by the transport, storage and communications sector (+9.99%), as well as by the following activities: real estate (+4.64%); agriculture, livestock and silviculture (+10.29%).
